Prime Minister Prof. Kamil Idris has appointed Dr. Mahmoud Suleiman Mohamed Bashir as Director General of Sudan's General Authority for Antiquities and Museums, following a recommendation by Minister of Culture, Information, Antiquities and Tourism Khalid Al-Eiser.
Dr. Mahmoud Suleiman has held several administrative and technical positions within the Authority and has extensive experience across its departments and archaeological sites.
