Cairo, Nabaa Sudan – Sudanese Ambassador Badr-Eddin Ali El-Jie’afari was sworn in before Ambassador Nabil Fahmy, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, on the occasion of assuming his post as Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League and Director of the Arab Fund for African Technical Assistance.
Ambassador El-Jie’afari is the third Sudanese diplomat to hold this position since the establishment of the League of Arab States, underscoring Sudan’s standing and active role in joint Arab action, as well as its longstanding contributions to supporting the League’s work and strengthening Arab-African cooperation.
This appointment reflects the confidence placed in Sudanese diplomatic talent and expertise, including its institutional experience and capacity to contribute to advancing joint Arab action and enhancing the role of the Arab Fund for African Technical Assistance in supporting development and cooperation efforts between Arab and African countries.
