New York, (Nabaa Sudan) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ambassador Mohieddin Salem participated in the annual consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers, held in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The meeting was chaired by Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohamed Ali Nafti, President of the current session of the Arab Ministerial Council, and attended by Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy.
The meeting discussed the importance of Arab solidarity and coordination of positions on the Palestinian issue, the situation in Sudan, and developments in the Gulf region, while stressing the security of the Red Sea, freedom of international navigation, and respect for international law.
