Port Sudan, (Nabaa Sudan) – The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) and Sudan Airways “Sudanair” signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at supporting the rehabilitation of the Sudanair Academy, enhancing training and qualification programs, and participating in the preparation of plans and strategies related to the development of the company.
The signing ceremony took place during a ceremony honoring Academy President Dr. Ismail Abdel-Ghaffar Ismail, under the patronage and in the presence of Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Seif Al-Nasr Al-Tijani Haroun, with the attendance of the Wali of Red Sea State, the Director General of the Sea Ports Corporation, and a number of ambassadors and university vice-chancellors.
The minister stressed the importance of translating the MoU into practical programs and projects that contribute to developing personnel and transport institutions in Sudan.
