Sudanese Minister of Minerals Noor Al-Daem Taha held talks with Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Khorayef on the sidelines of the International Mining Conference in Riyadh, focusing on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the mining sector.
Both sides affirmed the depth of the fraternal relations between Sudan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and their shared aspiration to elevate these ties into a sustainable strategic partnership.
Minister Taha commended Saudi Arabia’s vision for developing the mining sector and maximizing the value of mineral resources, noting Sudan’s keen interest in Saudi investments and its commitment to providing all necessary facilities to investors.
The meeting reviewed cooperation in geological research and exploration, capacity-building and training, the development of technical laboratories, and the exchange of expertise between relevant institutions in both countries, in support of sustainable economic development.
