Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Reports Record Gold ‎Production and Revenues

Khartoum, (Nabaa Sudan) – The Sudanese Mineral Resources ‎Company announced record levels of gold production, revenues, and ‎gold export proceeds, according to cumulative performance results ‎through September 2026, marking the highest levels since the ‎company was established.‎

At its executive office meeting held Tuesday at the company’s ‎headquarters in Khartoum, the company reviewed its cumulative ‎performance indicators. Gold production reached 105 percent of the ‎planned target for 2026.‎

The company achieved 131 percent of its revenue target, with ‎revenues amounting to approximately SDG 1.886 trillion, while gold ‎export proceeds reached $2.292 billion.‎

The company’s Director General, Mohamed Tahir Omer, commended ‎the efforts of employees and partners in the mining process, directing ‎that efforts be redoubled to address obstacles facing mining activities ‎and overcome the challenges confronting the sector.‎

Omer stressed the importance of continued attention to the ‎environment, safety, and mining extension services, as well as ‎completing the digital transformation process in order to enhance the ‎efficiency of the mining sector and strengthen its contribution to the ‎Sudanese economy.‎
