The General Meteorological Authority has issued an orange alert, warning of moderate to heavy rainfall in scattered parts of Khartoum, Al-Gezira, and northern White Nile states.
It said the rainfall will be accompanied by strong winds raising dust and sand in Khartoum, Al-Gezira, River Nile, and Northern states, urging people to avoid low-lying areas, valleys, and roads that may be flooded.
