Minister of Youth and Sports Professor Ahmed Adam stressed the importance of youth participation in tree-planting and environmental protection programs, describing young people as a key force in leading community initiatives.
He made the remarks during his participation in Tree Day celebrations in Al-Damazin, alongside the Federal Sports Caravan, held in conjunction with celebrations marking the 72nd anniversary of the Sudanese Armed Forces.
The minister called on young people to contribute to expanding vegetation cover and protecting natural resources, stressing that their role extends beyond sports to include environmental protection, reconstruction and sustainable development.
