A medical convoy organized by Al-Rahman Medical Organization is set to implement a comprehensive medical program in Northern State from April 2 to 18, in coordination with Sudan’s Ministry of Health and relevant authorities. The program will deliver advanced healthcare services, including complex surgical procedures, alongside medical camps targeting residents and internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the Al-Affadh area.
The mission, comprising 17 doctors and specialists, is equipped with substantial quantities of medicines and medical supplies to support healthcare delivery and improve treatment services.
The Embassy of the Republic of Sudan in London on Wednesday saw off the convoy, underscoring ongoing efforts to support and strengthen Sudan’s health sector. The embassy also commended Sudanese health authorities for facilitating humanitarian operations and highlighted continued cooperation with the organization, including a previous medical mission last November and contributions of therapeutic food shipments.
