Federal Minister of Health Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim and Wali of White Nile State Lt. Gen. Gamarelddin Mohamed Fadl Al-Moula inaugurated the late Dr. Omar Nour Al-Daim Hospital in Naeema, Al-Getainah Locality, to provide medical and emergency services to residents and travelers along the Kosti–Khartoum national highway.
The health minister highlighted the hospital’s importance in providing emergency and ambulance services, noting that Kofti Company has provided medical equipment worth $400,000, with further specialties and equipment to follow.
The White Nile State Minister of Health and Social Development, Saad Adam, described the hospital as a model of community-government partnership, featuring 20 specialized laboratories and ultrasound services as part of efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery.
The Wali said the project will help localize medical treatment and expand access to healthcare services across White Nile State.
