The Federal Ministry of Health announced the killing of a medical assistant at Al-Rahad Hospital, who was also a volunteer with the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, while performing his duties.
The Ministry said in a statement that the medical assistant, identified as Ahmed Yaqoub, was killed after the ambulance he was travelling in came under a direct drone strike in Al-Rahad, North Kordofan State.
