The Saudi Cabinet, chaired by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, strongly condemned the baseless allegations and false accusations made by the Houthi terrorist militia, saying they are unfounded and reflect the group's involvement in regional conflicts in pursuit of its destructive agenda and objectives, further deepening the suffering of the Yemeni people and threatening regional peace and stability.
During its meeting in Jeddah, the Cabinet reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's continued support for the Yemeni people and their legitimate government, while stressing that the Kingdom will take all necessary measures to safeguard its security and protect its vessels in accordance with international law and the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).
