Sudan Strongly Condemns Houthi Militia Targeting of Taiba Power ‎Distribution Station in Madinah

Electicity Station in Al madinah targeted by Al Houthi Group

Khartoum, (Nabaa Sudan) – The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs ‎has strongly condemned and denounced the targeting by the Houthi ‎militia of the Taiba Power Distribution Station in Madinah, Saudi ‎Arabia, which provides electricity services to the Prophet’s Mosque, ‎describing the attack as a disgraceful act targeting a civilian facility ‎and violating the sanctity of the City of the Messenger of Allah, ‎Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).‎

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attack ‎represents a continuation of the Houthi militia’s approach of targeting ‎Islamic holy sites and provoking the sentiments of Muslims around the ‎world. It called on the international community to condemn such ‎practices and work to deter them in a manner that preserves the ‎security and safety of the Two Holy Mosques.‎

The statement also reaffirmed Sudan’s full solidarity with the Kingdom ‎of Saudi Arabia and its support for the Kingdom in protecting its ‎security and safeguarding its holy sites.‎
