The Sudanese Bar Association strongly condemned the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia’s targeting of Om Rawaba Court in North Kordofan State by drone, resulting in the deaths and injuries of civilians, including litigants, court employees and lawyers.
The Association described the targeting of the court as a serious violation of international humanitarian law, calling on states and international organizations to condemn these crimes and work to halt attacks on civilians and judicial facilities.
The Association also called for the leaders of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, its political leadership and its affiliates to be brought to justice, affirming its determination to continue pursuing them through legal proceedings before domestic, regional and international courts until they receive the maximum penalties.
