The National Mobilization and Popular Resistance Committee, chaired by Lt. Gen. Bashir Mekki Al-Bahi, issued a statement congratulating the Sudanese people and the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) on the “return of Al-Kormuk” in Blue Nile State to “the embrace of the homeland,” hailing the military advance as a “victory and a positive omen” for the liberation of other areas.
The Popular Resistance and its committees across Sudan’s regions and states extended their highest congratulations to the Sudanese people, as well as to the leadership, officers, and soldiers of the Armed Forces, the Joint Forces, mobilized forces, and other supporting units.
In his statement, the committee’s chairman expressed special appreciation to the “Lions of Blue Nile,” praising their heroic role in recapturing Al-Kormuk “through force and determination.” He described the achievement as a strong impetus to clear the remaining parts of the country from the “filth of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and those supporting them at home and abroad.”
The Popular Resistance reaffirmed its firm commitment to remaining a pillar of support for the Sudanese Armed Forces in the “Battle of Dignity.”
The statement stressed that the Popular Resistance would continue supporting and fighting alongside the Armed Forces until the liberation of every inch of Sudanese territory.
It also offered prayers for the martyrs, wishing them eternal paradise, a speedy recovery for the wounded, and the safe return of all prisoners and missing persons.
The statement concluded: “Victory from Allah and a near triumph. We will remain behind our Armed Forces until Sudan achieves complete security and stability.”
