Al-Damazin, (Nabaa Sudan) – Blue Nile Region Governor Lieutenant General Ahmed Al-Omda Badi said his residence and a number of civilian sites had been targeted in an attack carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia using suicide drones, praising the air defense forces for repelling the attack.
Badi said the attack would only make them stronger, more steadfast, and more determined, and would not deter them from continuing to defend the homeland and working to clear every inch of Sudanese territory of rebellion and aggression. He affirmed that attempts to target them would not halt the process of reconstruction and stability.
He called on the people of Blue Nile Region to remain united and cohesive, stand together, prioritize the national interest, avoid division and discord, and strengthen the spirit of solidarity and responsibility.
The governor also called on the sons and daughters of the region to stand behind the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and supporting forces, rally around state institutions, and work to protect the homeland, safeguard its sovereignty, and achieve security and stability.
Badi renewed his commitment to continuing to perform his national duty, affirming that the attacks would not deter him from fulfilling his responsibilities toward the people of the region and the homeland.
