Khartoum, (Nabaa Sudan) – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, today honored the Sudan U-20 national team at the Republican Palace following its crowning as champion of the East and Central African Football Associations (CECAFA) tournament.
Al-Burhan congratulated the players on the achievement, praising their abilities and commitment to training and developing their skills. He affirmed the state’s commitment to supporting the players and national teams and providing a suitable environment for them to continue their contributions.
For his part, Deputy President of the Sudan Football Association Osama Ata Al-Manan expressed his appreciation for the TSC President’s honoring of the delegation, affirming the association’s continued support for the national teams and its efforts to achieve further sporting successes.
Al-Burhan said, “We will build and rebuild Sudan with the efforts of its people, participate in all football competitions, and achieve victory.”
