Al-Eisir Launches Resumption of Khartoum International Channel Broadcasts

Khartoum, (Nabaa Sudan) — Minister of Culture, Information, Antiquities and Tourism Khalid Al-Eisir launched the resumption of broadcasts by Khartoum International Channel from its headquarters in Omdurman, in the presence of ministry officials, a number of media organization directors, and representatives of local and foreign television channels.

Al-Eisir described the resumption of broadcasts as a historic moment, stressing the channel’s importance and role in shaping public opinion. He also revealed that the ministry was moving to rehabilitate its institutions and build partnerships with journalists’ organizations.

For his part, Chairman of the channel’s Board of Directors Ibrahim Al-Bazai announced plans to expand the channel’s operations by launching a cultural channel, as well as preparations to provide terrestrial broadcasting services for state-owned satellite channels and help strengthen radio broadcasting.
