Commander of the 5th Infantry Division (Al-Hagana) in El Obeid, Major General Al-Siddiq Al-Jeili, announced plans for a large-scale deployment of the Sudanese Armed Forces, regular forces, Joint Forces, and supporting forces across North Kordofan State in the coming days to strengthen security and safeguard the state.
Addressing the graduation ceremony of newly trained batches of mobilized volunteers, Al-Jeili said the forces were at a high level of readiness to carry out their assigned missions, stressing that the new recruits would provide vital support to the Armed Forces during the next phase.
He called for concerted official and public efforts to support the Armed Forces, praising the role of the Popular Resistance and the Mobilization Committee in Sheikan Locality in organizing and training the volunteers. He also commended the state government's support for mobilization programs, emphasizing the importance of continued coordination among all relevant stakeholders to further strengthen security and stability in North Kordofan.
