Cairo, (Nabaa Sudan) – U.S. Senior Advisor to the President for Arab and African Affairs Massad Boulos said, “It was my pleasure to attend the luncheon hosted by His Excellency President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi in New Alamein City, Egypt, alongside General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) of Sudan, on the sidelines of the African Union Coordination Meeting.”
He added, “We reaffirm the United States’ steadfast position in supporting the Sudanese people and its support for preserving Sudan’s unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
“We reiterate the continued efforts of the United States, together with our Egyptian partners and our other regional and international partners and allies, to advance a political solution to the crisis, contribute to ending the war, and alleviate the humanitarian suffering of the Sudanese people, as called for by President Trump,” he stressed.
He added, “These efforts aim to enable Sudan to restore its security and stability, embark on reconstruction and development, and, through an inclusive national dialogue owned and led by Sudanese, move toward a civilian-led government.”
