Khartoum, (Nabaa Sudan) – Central Darfur State Wali Mustafa Tambour said that the 90-day truce proposed by U.S. President’s Senior Adviser for Arab and Middle Eastern Affairs, Massad Boulos, represents, in his assessment, an attempt to save the remaining elements of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in Kordofan.
In a post on Facebook, Tambour added that the move aims to impede the Sudanese Armed Forces’ advance toward the Darfur Region.
