Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aatty held a phone call with U.S. President’s Senior Advisor Massad Boulos to discuss the latest developments in Sudan and ways to support efforts to restore stability.
During the call, Abdel-Aatty reviewed Egypt’s regional and international initiatives in support of Sudan, highlighting Egypt’s chairing of the African Union Peace and Security Council ministerial session on the Sudanese crisis.
He also noted Sudanese Prime Minister Kamil Idris’s recent visit to Cairo, reflecting the growing pace of high-level political consultations between the two countries.
