The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned the Rapid Support Forces attack on the Musteriha area in North Darfur, which resulted in civilian casualties and injuries, as well as the targeting and destruction of the area’s only healthcare facility and assaults on its medical staff.
According to a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt reaffirmed its commitment to Sudan’s unity and sovereignty, rejecting any attempts to undermine its national institutions or threaten its cohesion. The statement also stressed the continuation of Egypt’s regional and international efforts to support the cessation of the conflict and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to those affected.
