Field sources reported that the Sudanese Air Force carried out heavy airstrikes on positions and concentrations of the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in Sudan’s Blue Nile Region.
According to the sources, the strikes targeted key militia positions and military sites as part of ongoing operations aimed at disrupting its movements and military capabilities, with the ultimate objective of eliminating the militia entirely.
The air operations coincided with intensified ground operations by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) in the region, as the military seeks to regain control of areas held by the militia and secure strategic positions across the Blue Nile.
