Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohi-Eddin Salem held a telephone conversation with his Ugandan counterpart, Adonia Ayebare, during which they discussed the course of bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to further develop them.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the two ministers also discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on current developments, stressing the importance of continued coordination and consultation between the two countries on relevant issues.

The telephone conversation comes within the framework of Sudan and Uganda's keenness to strengthen communication and coordination between the two countries in a manner that promotes and supports their mutual interests.
