Khartoum (Nabaa Sudan) — Minister of Interior Lieutenant General (Police) Babiker Samra Mustafa, has inaugurated the Pioneers’ Hall at the Police Club in Burri, in the presence of Director General of the Police Forces, General (Police) Amir Abdel-Moneim Fadl, along with current and former senior police officials.
The Interior Minister affirmed that maintenance and rehabilitation work at police facilities would continue. He noted that police personnel’s residential accommodation, schools, hospitals and health centres had been rehabilitated. He also said the opening of the Public Services Complex in Khartoum Bahri was imminent, while work at the Sajjana Complex was continuing.
For his part, the Director General of the Police Forces affirmed the continuation of reconstruction efforts at police premises and service centres damaged by the war. He said the Pioneers’ Hall represented part of the police institution’s heritage and would strengthen ties between generations.
The police spokesperson, meanwhile, said work at the Police Club would be completed soon, paving the way for the resumption of its activities.
