National Forces Coordination Presidential Council Holds Meeting in Khartoum

The Presidential Council of the National Forces Coordination held a meeting in the capital, Khartoum, following a meeting between a delegation from the Coordination and President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, to discuss political and organizational issues and the latest developments.

The meeting reviewed the outcomes of the meeting, including the TSC President’s commendation of the Coordination’s role during the war and its efforts to support national issues and preserve national cohesion.

The Council welcomed Al-Burhan’s approval of the proposal to drop the cases and suspend private-right proceedings against political forces, considering it a step that would contribute to creating a conducive political climate, building confidence and paving the way for an inclusive Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue.

The Council affirmed that it would continue its efforts to broaden national consensus, end polarization and support the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue toward understandings that achieve peace and stability.
