RSF Leadership Moves Combat Units Previously Prepared for Bara Axis to West and North Darfur States

Citing local media in West Kordofan, the leadership of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia has withdrawn combat units that had been prepared as a reserve force for deployment to the Bara axis, according to the original plan, which it said was “disrupted” by army intelligence through the transfer of operations to West and North Darfur states.

The report added that with this “hasty” decision, namely the withdrawal of its forces from Kordofan, the militia has left the Messeiriya and Hawazma communities, as well as South Sudanese and Ethiopian mercenaries, at the mercy of the flood of the Sudanese Armed Forces and supporting forces, which are currently preparing to storm militia positions in North and West Kordofan.
