Sudan's Ambassador to China, Omar Issa Ahmed, met executives of Chinese renewable energy company JA in Beijing to discuss cooperation in solar energy and support for Sudan's reconstruction.
The delegation was briefed on the company's latest photovoltaic and energy storage technologies and explored opportunities to transfer Chinese expertise to Sudan's renewable energy sector.
JA outlined its global operations, particularly in Africa, and expressed interest in investing in Sudan's reconstruction through solar energy projects.
The company's General Manager reaffirmed JA's commitment to expanding cooperation with Sudan and highlighted the country's renewable energy potential.
Ambassador Omar Issa Ahmed praised the longstanding Sudan-China partnership and said Sudan seeks to deepen cooperation with Chinese companies, particularly in reconstruction, electricity, and renewable energy.
The two sides also reviewed Sudan's renewable energy priorities and potential investment opportunities.
