The Sudan Doctors Network announced that 25 medical personnel have been killed in North Darfur State since the outbreak of the war. It also revealed that 20 doctors, including four female doctors, are being detained in the city of El Fasher, and that their fate remains unknown following the Rapid Support Forces' (RSF) takeover of the city.
The network called for the protection of healthcare workers to ensure the continued provision of medical services in conflict areas. It also urged that the fate of the detained doctors be disclosed and that medical personnel be allowed to carry out their duties free from targeting and violations.
