Sudan’s Minister of Energy, Eng. Al-Mua’tasim Ibrahim Ali, met South Africa’s Minister of Electricity and Energy, Dr. Kgosientsho David Ramokgopa, to discuss cooperation in energy and electricity, reaffirming historic bilateral ties.
The meeting, held at the Sudanese Ambassador’s residence in Pretoria, included plans to sign MoUs, enhance training, knowledge exchange, technology transfer, and institutional support, and strengthen collaboration with South Africa’s Eskom for electricity generation, distribution, and smart consumption monitoring.
