New York, (Nabaa Sudan) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ambassador Mohieddin Salem participated in the opening session of the high-level General Debate of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly at the UN headquarters in New York.
The session was addressed by UN Secretary-General António Guterres and President of the 81st session of the General Assembly Khalil Al-Rahman, in the presence of a number of heads of state and government, ministers, and representatives of UN member states.
The General Debate provides member states with an opportunity to present their positions on major international issues and exchange views on strengthening multilateral cooperation and addressing common challenges.
