The Sudanese Mineral Resources Company announced that gold production this year reached approximately 70 tons, achieving historic revenues of 1.087 trillion Sudanese pounds in 2025, at a completion rate of 113% of the planned target—the highest production rate recorded in the sector over the past five years.
The Board of Directors also approved the 2026 plan and budget, focused on digitizing operations, performance governance, sector development, strengthening oversight, environmental safety, and attracting investments, while introducing national projects to enhance mining’s role in the national economy.
