Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris underscored the implementation of digital transformation through the Baldna platform across all Ministry of Industry and Trade transactions, highlighting the government’s commitment to fully digitizing public services.
During a surprise visit to the Foreign Trade Directorate, he met with Director-General Mohamed Adam Abu-Al-Bashar and reviewed services in the Import, Export, and Commercial Registry divisions. The Prime Minister instructed the activation of supervisory mechanisms to streamline processes, empower citizens to complete transactions independently, and curb intermediaries and corruption.
Dr. Idris also addressed citizens’ complaints, ensuring swift resolution, and assessed staff challenges, reaffirming the government’s commitment to providing resources that enhance service efficiency.
He later inspected the Documentation Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to verify continued workflow improvements and the implementation of previous directives.
