The Evident Media network conducted an investigative report titled: (“Inside the secret network fueling the war in Sudan”).

The investigation addresses the ongoing war in Sudan as currently the world’s largest humanitarian crisis, and highlights the depth of foreign and international interventions that contribute to igniting this bloody conflict and continuously fueling it.

The investigative team goes field-based to the town of Kufra in southern Libya, close to the Sudanese border, accompanied by the “Subul al-Salam” brigade of the Libyan National Army. The footage shows attempts by the Libyan army to monitor the team’s movements and prevent it from advancing southwards, due to the presence of training camps and active logistical routes belonging to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in that desert area.

The investigative report, supported by analysis of satellite images and video clips published on social media platforms (such as TikTok), reveals the existence of four undeclared training camps belonging to the Rapid Support Forces inside Libyan territory, and shows a large flow of arms shipments, fuel, and armored vehicles directed to Sudan to support the RSF militia.

The investigative team hosts a defected member of the Rapid Support Forces (Ahmed) in a secret interview to protect his identity. Ahmed recounts spending three months at a Libyan National Army military base near Benghazi known as “Camp 17,” confirming that they received there weapons and modern four-wheel-drive vehicles sent through supply lines linked to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The video clip addresses the role of Colombian mercenaries and foreign military trainers whose presence was confirmed inside ‘Camp 17' in Libya. They were contracted through private security companies to train and fight alongside the RSF militia.

The video ends with an emotional meeting with a displaced woman who fled with her four children from Zamzam camp in Darfur in western Sudan due to atrocities and repeated attacks, highlighting the scale of immense suffering caused by this war on civilians.
