The Emergency Council at the Federal Ministry of Health revealed during its weekly meeting that malaria cases have increased in Khartoum, White Nile, and Al-Gezira states compared with the previous two years.
The council, however, noted a decline in cholera cases and heatstroke incidents in recent weeks.
