Khartoum (Nabaa Sudan) – The Sudanese National Council for Medical Specialisations held talks with a delegation from the Italian Emergency Organisation on ways to strengthen cooperation, develop specialist training programmes and follow up on the conditions of doctors undergoing training at accredited hospitals.
The meeting, held at the Council’s headquarters in Khartoum, addressed joint coordination to monitor the progress of the training process and discussed opportunities to expand the range of medical specialities and increase the number of trainees at accredited hospitals, in support of medical qualification and training programmes.
The two sides are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding next week, incorporating the agreed amendments and regulating areas of joint cooperation.
