Prime Minister Prof. Kamil Idris met with Sultan Saad Abdelrahman Bahr El-Din of the Masalit Sultanate and his accompanying delegation to discuss issues related to Sudan's current and future priorities.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister's Adviser Nizar Abdullah Mohamed and Cabinet Secretary-General Ali Mohamed Ali.
The Sultan said discussions focused on the conditions of internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees, students affected by the war, wounded civilians, and broader humanitarian challenges.
He added that the delegation received guidance on the role of traditional and community leaders in supporting stability and national recovery, while reaffirming its backing for the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Government of Hope.
