Sudanese Prime Minister Kamil Idris met with German Foreign Minister Johann Wädrefol on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the humanitarian support Germany provides through United Nations agencies, reviewing developments in Sudan and the government’s Peace Initiative aimed at achieving a just and sustainable peace that paves the way for free and fair elections.
For his part, the German Foreign Minister affirmed his country’s interest in Sudan’s situation and its commitment to contributing to ending the war, with both sides looking forward to strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.
