Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris welcomed the British Foreign Secretary’s condemnation of the atrocities and violations committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in El-Fashir, highlighting the depth of Sudanese-British relations and the government’s determination to strengthen and expand them.
The remarks were made during his meeting today with the UK Special Representative to Sudan, Mr. Richard Crowder, where the two sides discussed the long-standing historical ties between Britain and Sudan. Both parties affirmed their commitment to advancing these relations in a manner that serves the mutual interests of the two countries.
The UK Special Representative also reiterated Britain’s dedication to finding an urgent solution for peace in Sudan and emphasized the British government’s readiness to cooperate with Sudan across all sectors.
