Red Sea State Forces Seize Nearly Half a Ton of Drugs in Major Operation

In a coordinated operation with the General Intelligence Service, Red Sea State anti-smuggling forces seized a large quantity of drugs in the southern part of the state, totalling nearly half a ton. The haul included 384 kilograms of ice, 27 kilograms of heroin, 42 bags of liquid narcotics, and 15 bags of qat, marking one of the largest recent seizures.
Red Sea Wali, Mustafa Mohammed Noor, praised the efforts of customs forces, highlighting their professionalism and high determination in thwarting smuggling attempts and protecting the community.
The Director General of Customs and the Director of Anti-Smuggling Forces also commended the high-profile seizure, emphasizing the continuation of round-the-clock operations to combat smuggling and safeguard the national economy and resources.
