The Sudan Football Association (SFA) Media Secretariat has announced that applications for Sudanese media coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico will open on January 26, 2026.
Eligible journalists and photographers can apply under FIFA’s accreditation rules. Successful candidates will be selected through an electronic draw to ensure transparency and fairness.
Atif Ahmed Al-Sayid, Director of the Media Secretariat, reaffirmed the SFA’s commitment to impartial allocation of credentials. He noted that Technical Support Officer Engineer Arif Abdel-Gadir Taj-Eddin will assist applicants throughout the process.
Al-Sayid also praised the Association’s leadership—President Dr. Mutasim Jafar Sir Al-Khatim, First Vice President Osama Ata Al-Mannan Hassan, and Secretary-General Magdi Shams-Eddin—for their continued support in ensuring fair access for all media professionals.
