Sudan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has expressed its outright rejection and strong condemnation of the Israeli occupation’s recognition of the Somaliland region, describing the move as a violation of international charters and a dangerous precedent that threatens to undermine the stability and security of the entire region.
In a press statement issued by the Office of the Official Spokesperson and the Media Directorate, the ministry affirmed Sudan’s full solidarity with the brotherly Somali people, reiterating its steadfast support for the unity of the Federal Republic of Somalia and its full sovereignty over all its territory within internationally recognized borders.
