Sudan Set to Launch SudaPass: Unified National Digital Identity for Secure Electronic Services

The Ministry of Digital Transformation and Communications has announced the imminent launch of SudaPass, the country’s unified national digital identity, as part of its strategy to modernize the digital services infrastructure and establish a secure and reliable electronic verification ecosystem nationwide.

SudaPass will act as a single gateway to both government and private sector services, accessible through a smart application compatible with a variety of devices, and activated via passport verification or facial recognition. The platform also enables users to legally sign transactions and documents electronically, eliminating the need for printing or additional hardware.

SudaPass marks a strategic milestone within the Baldna platform, advancing the creation of a national digital identity that strengthens trust, enhances service efficiency, and facilitates seamless transactions for both citizens and residents.
