TSC President Receives CISSA Delegation

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, met on Thursday with a delegation from the Committee of Intelligence and Security Services of Africa (CISSA) in the presence of the Director of the General Intelligence Service, General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal. The CISSA delegation congratulated Al-Burhan on the government's resumption of operations from the capital, Khartoum, and expressed appreciation for Sudan's efforts to restore security and stability and reestablish the functioning of state institutions in the capital.

The delegation also reaffirmed its full solidarity with Sudan and expressed support for the state's efforts to confront the terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, stressing the importance of strengthening security and stability.

During the meeting, Al-Burhan reviewed the latest developments in the country, the government's efforts to restore security and stability, and its vision for the next phase, as well as ways to strengthen cooperation with African intelligence and security services.

The meeting also addressed issues of mutual interest and explored ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between Sudan and the Committee of Intelligence and Security Services of Africa in support of security and stability in Sudan and across the African continent.
