Images circulated of the arrival of Rapid Support Forces (RSF) commander Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemeidti) in Kampala show that he arrived aboard a Royal Jet aircraft from the Bombardier Global 5000 series. Aviation specialists reportedly matched the aircraft’s window configuration and distinctive exterior striping to confirm the identification.
Royal Jet, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, is listed as a partnership between Abu Dhabi Aviation and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Presidential Aviation, suggesting—according to the sources cited—that support is being facilitated at senior state levels.
Despite tight confidentiality measures and the disabling of flight-tracking systems, information indicates that the aircraft carrying the RSF commander to Kampala bore registration A6-RJC. It reportedly departed from Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi to Nairobi, before continuing onward to Kampala.
The aircraft had previously been observed operating between Abu Dhabi and several African destinations, particularly Addis Ababa. On January 24, 2026, it was reported to have flown from Zayed International Airport to Addis Ababa with a high-level delegation believed to be affiliated with the RSF militia.
This is not the first time the RSF commander has reportedly used aircraft from the same company. In the early years of the war, he is said to have travelled aboard a Boeing Business Jet, registration A6-RJF, assigned specifically for his foreign movements.
