Sudan’s Permanent Delegate to Geneva, Ambassador Hassan Hamid, reaffirmed during the closing session of the 355th Governing Body of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Sudan’s full support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regarding the complaint filed against it.

According to the Sudan News Agency (SUNA), Ambassador Hamid stated that the complaint lacks legal grounds and does not reflect the constructive cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the ILO. He highlighted the extensive reforms carried out by the Kingdom, particularly in the fields of social protection and the reform of the labor mobility system.

Ambassador Hamid called for rejecting the complaint and supporting the ongoing cooperative framework between the two sides.
