Health Ministry Calls for Integrated National Health System

    Federal Ministry of Health launched a planning workshop for the Health Emergency and Infrastructure Project (SHEIP), with participation from international partners.

    Undersecretary Dr. Ali Babiker Sayid Ahmed underscored the need to optimize available resources and build a comprehensive, resilient health system capable of addressing the war’s impact.

    He expressed appreciation to the African Development Bank for its support.

    WHO Representative Dr. Hala Khudair reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to supporting Sudan’s health sector, noting that the SHEIP initiative targets 20 hospitals and 25 health centers. She called for coordinated efforts to ensure the project’s success.
