Damazin (Nabaa Sudan) – Governor of Blue Nile Region Ahmed Al-Omda Badi on Wednesday condemned drone strikes carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia against defenceless civilians and civilian facilities in Damazin, confirming that one person had been killed in the attacks.
In a post on Facebook, Badi urged the international community to take serious action in response to the crimes committed by the RSF militia, while calling on residents of the region to remain united and stand together.
Damazin came under an extensive drone attack on Tuesday evening, with the drones crossing from Ethiopia. The attack killed a woman and injured another inside their home in Al-Zohoor neighbourhood.
