Electricity Company maintenance and repair teams have made significant progress in addressing faults at the Merowe Dam, with all remaining work expected to be completed within days, a company source told Nabaa Sudan.
The source said technical teams are working around the clock to address challenges facing the electricity sector and meet consumers’ needs.
The company is also preparing to launch local production of electricity meters once the necessary technical work is completed, according to the source.
